Pamela Dixon, a Medicare insurance agent and owner of Dixon Benefit Group, has been a long-time supporter of Great Books for Kids, the 501c3 nonprofit in southeast Georgia that puts engaging books into the hands and homes of children in need.

Recently, Dixon made her 4th donation to the organization, which enabled the purchase of a new book for over 300 upper elementary students at Woodbine Elementary School and Mamie Lou Gross Elementary School in Camden County.

To date, Dixon’s sponsorship of Great Books for Kids has enabled 828 elementary-aged children in Glynn and Camden Counties to receive a new book for their homes, helping to support the development of their reading skills. She also worked with Great Books for Kids to research and purchase 150 engaging coloring books and magic painting books for the senior citizens at the Roosevelt Harris Jr. Senior Center in Brunswick to support their cognitive health.

Great Books for Kids’ founder, Jen Tacbas, is grateful to Dixon for her generous support of their book-gifting mission, as well as her friendship.
