It’s that time, again! Most folks know the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is October 15 – December 7. But is there anything YOU need to do during that timeframe? Read on to find out!
If I am already your healthcare insurance agent, you should have already received a letter or phone call from me in mid-September. Most of my clients with Medicare plans do not require any action during the Annual Enrollment Period. Simply enjoy peace of mind that you are already in the right plan for your unique personal and financial circumstances.
Are you turning 65 during the AEP and new to Medicare?
Are you interested in updating or changing your current healthcare plan?
If either of the above describes YOU, then please give me a call at 912-269-4755 to schedule an in-person or phone consultation! I will help you simplify your Medicare options and maximize your benefits. After choosing the right healthcare plan for your needs, you will be able to get back to living your life with peace of mind. All my services are at no cost to you!
Scam Alert
As we approach the Annual Enrollment Period, you may begin to see television commercials, hear radio commercials, and receive mail from healthcare companies and other agents regarding upcoming changes to plans and benefits for the new year.
If you are already my healthcare insurance client, rest assured: I am constantly monitoring these healthcare plan changes and updates. If any plan changes were to affect the plan YOU currently have, I would contact you personally by phone.
If another insurance company or agent contacts you, DO NOT give them your Medicare plan number. I have heard of folks being signed up for a different plan without their knowledge or consent! If you think this has happened to you, please contact me right away.
If another insurance company or agent contacts you with a plan that you think sounds better than the one you currently have, please tell them you would like to have a 3-way call with me, your current agent. I will always have your best interests at heart, and I am willing to listen to what plan they are proposing for you. But oftentimes the company or agent who called you will not want to speak with me present…and you can feel glad you avoided a potential scam.
