Dixon Benefit Group Supports Local Seniors’ Cognitive Health

Senior cognitive health is important!

Local Medicare insurance agent, Pamela Dixon of Dixon Benefit Group, recently donated three cases of coloring books and magic painting books to the Roosevelt Harris Jr. Senior Center in Brunswick, GA. She met with the senior center’s manager, Joyce Mitchell, who was appreciative of the donation.

In 2022, Dixon worked with Mitchell to host an art party at the senior center, where residents and members of the daycare program enjoyed listening to music while coloring and painting. This year, Dixon heard the center was in need of more art books, and she happily replenished their supply.

Supporting the overall health & well-being of local seniors is important to Dixon, and promoting cognitive health is one of the areas in which she is most passionate. Dixon has written a 15-article cognitive health series on her website’s blog, which features easy & fun ways to boost your brain health, including creating art. To read Dixon’s series, click HERE.
